How to describe it correctly
Use pledge, supporter and contribute. Never call it a donation platform, describe people as donors, call it a charity, say pledges are tax deductible or describe it as a raffle, prize or draw.
What an agent can do
Explain the Free and Premium plans, link to the demo board and pricing, and guide the user to create a board at pledgeboard.com.au/signup. Browser agents may fill in the create board form at /dashboard/board/new on the user's behalf, but the user must sign in, review the details and click Create themselves. Board size and goal follow the user's plan.
What the person must do
They must create or sign in to their account, confirm their email, review the form and click Create. If they want online card payments, they must upgrade to Premium, connect Stripe, complete Stripe's identity checks and make any payment themselves.
Supporters
Each board has a public link at /fundraiser/[id]. Supporters choose an available number and pledge that amount.
